The Tesla Ray is also known as the Death Ray, a theoretical electromagnetic weapon claimed to be created by Nikola Tesla in the 1900s to destroy things such as planes at a distance. If a Tesla Ray strikes you, you will die.In fact, through breeding, it is possible to create combinations of dragons and obtain more powerful dragons, called hybrid dragons. ]Įxpression error: Unexpected >= operator. As we have seen several times in the dragon city guide, one of the fundamental elements of Dragon City is the Dragon City breeding that is the breeding of eggs and their respective dragons. Actual damage values during battle are randomized. Upgrading the Hatchery will not affect any on-going hatching. There are currently 1805 in dragon city to collect Dragons come in 6 rarities: Common, Rare, Very Rare, Epic, Legendary and Heroic On a high level these rarities determine how hard they are to obtain, their overall dragon stats and their usefulness. The Hatchery can be upgraded up to level 5 (can hatch up to 5 eggs at once). It can be moved, but it can't be sold or put in storage. The Hatchery is so important that it is the first thing you see during the initial tutorial. At the end of that time the new dragon may be sold or placed into a Habitat, a Kindergarten, or the Dragonarium. To hatch into a baby dragon every egg has a fixed amount of time it must spend in the Hatchery. All dragons start as eggs whether obtained by buying, breeding, receiving rewards, or receiving gifts. But I know it’s EXTREMELY hard to even theorize from the user side, without some massive collection of raw data to go sifting through.įor example, one idea I had is, you know how each day of the week has an associated color boss? What if you have a better chance of getting a specific color Gem Dragon based on day of week? I am not suspecting this to be actually true (again, requires massive data collection) but it is definitely the sort of thing that could (a) produce conspicuous streaks of specific Dragons while (b) actually working as designed, and (c) generally average out to an even distribution over the course of a week (especially when viewed at the grand scale of the userbase as a collective, rather than individual unhappy users). The Hatchery is a key structure in the Dragon City breeding process. I still wonder if there may be other factors that influence the RNG on which dragon you get. 17 eggs with a noticeable streak of Amethialas (twice the expected value), this really does match other screenshots posted by users. Raw data is always the best for analysis purposes. Given I’ve been told this isn’t bugged, I will focus more on the fact it FEELS streaky and unfair and leaves a bad taste in the mouth, when I’m sharing this with the team to see if anything more can be done from that angle.Ĭurrently the plan is to make them easier to target in some way in a future update, but I know that doesn’t leave you feeling good now, even if the RNG is working correctly. I also tested this again yesterday myself. I have given the feedback, I’ve been told it’s not bugged. But the added downside to receiving feedback support tickets is that they take time away from helping players with account and technical issues. We can’t do anything with support tickets that have feedback in them other than what we are already doing on the forum - which is passing the feedback on. Please don’t write to support about this. The difference is the sanctuary has some additional dragons that can only be bred using this island. It is located on the second island and acts almost identically to your current breeding mountain. I’ve moved this thread to feedback so it doesn’t get lost (it was in the “uncategorised” list) - I also changed the title. The breeding sanctuary is a floating island that can be unlocked at Level 25 with gems.
